These workshops are designed to bring together filmmakers, actors, and screenwriters who wish to make films or hone their abilities. Success in cinema requires community, networking, and discussions. This event will help people create connections, write, edit, and practice performing.

Each session will have a distinct goal. First workshop, actors cold-read screenplays, plays, and other writing. The second monthly workshop would be for watching and discussing film’s right here at Franklin Castle. We’ll go in depth of what makes a great story, a great performance; we talk about rhythm and contrast; visual structure and what makes great cinema. This time is also for people to collaborate on projects and ideas;

– and finally making films right here in Cleveland!
